Funny funny funny!

This has got to be the best comedic offering from Britain since Absolutely Fabulous!!!! Simply brilliant!!

The public said, "Enough!" after series 3 of Little Britain in the UK. Lucas and Walliams did not listen, and continued to sell out, take the money, and dumb down their once hit series yet again. The entire concept of the show makes absolutely no sense. Lucas and Walliams are taking on a country they know nothing about. No research at all. They've had to rely on old stereotypes, stereotypes that were done to death 30 years ago, and are no longer true. The series is simply no funny. It relies on shock value, and shock value alone. The original Little Britain series had shocking moments, but moments that made sense and were intracle to the point they were trying to make. It's all gimmicks now. It's ashame that both haven't yet listened to the public, and created some other masterpiece. They're wasting time. It's honestly no wonder why Little Britain USA flopped in America. There are real issues to make fun of. Had they done their homework and had a real reason to do it, the show would have been a huge success. I'll be happen when HBO stops handing over the checks to make this rubbish, and Lucas and Walliams are forced to flee back home and come up with something original. They can't be using the Little Britain concept as a crutch forever. The state of HBO has been dire for years, with everyone who made the network, including programmers, and actos, have jumped ship, and for good reason. Since it's been announced that the series has been renewed by the network, it proves yet again that HBO is determined to make itself completely irrelevant in cable television. Better luck next time!

I've been a big fan of Little Britain for years and was a little skeptical about the new US version. Just like the original, I was hooked after the first episode. Watch this show! It takes an entirely different direction from everything else out in the US.

Being a Brit expat, and having seen all of the UK series, this US version is as funny, if not funnier, than the original collection. They took a gamble by releasing a US version - and it paid off ! It takes time to get used to the humour if you havent seen Little Britain before - stick with it and you will be rolling on the floor laughing in no time. If you havent seen Little Britain before - well you are in for a treat ! David Walliams and Matt Lucas are genius !

With the exception of a shockingly dull and boring Astronaut, the American series is awesome. I highly recommend it. Thankfully the astronaut isn't in all. Wish there was more of the men's room cleaner... "no worries, I no look at the _ _ _ _ _!" LOL

My brother passed away this past year in 2008 so I haven't done much laughing. When I bought the first episode it was Hilarious. It showed me I could laugh again and really feel it. It seems to get even better as you go along. I recommend this to anyone who has an openmind and can appreciate this over the top, edgey, envelope pushing performance for what it is. 100 % Pure COMEDY! If you get offended easily I don't recommend this to you and you should really see someone for that.... Otherwise ENJOY!

I was quite disappointed with this HBO version of Little Britain as opposed to the UK series. Vicki talks slower in an apparent attempt to either make herself more understandable to the American public or to appease an HBO director. And going from the Prime Minister's gay aid to the gay Prime Minister himself was quite different. The lads are just as talented as ever and just as funny. I just feel like they are giving in to the HBO producers and selling their selves short. Just let Matt and David do their own stuff. They will be sure to please the American audience.
